I had the opportunity to meet Demaryius Thomas a couple times at an event called Wine, Women, and Football. Every time I saw him I would tease him a little bit about being a Georgia Tech player and show him my Clemson Tiger Paws. He would just flash that smile you see everywhere and shake his head. For just a few minutes while he was autographing something and posing for a photo, we would talk a little bit about ACC football. I always appreciated his kindness and humanity. He did not seem to let his NFL status affect who he was as a person. Such a nice young man. You can see how much he will be missed by so many. RIP DT.
